It was an extremely difficult battle but after 3 wipes, 2 adds, and a ?? DK ruining our fun we finally beat the game.
 
At the start we weren't sure what to expect. We ran in and Hogger immediately chewed through both the main tank and the off tank with devastating 60dmg crushing blows. Hogger then tore through the remainder of the raid -- not even permitting time to run to the safety of the water (the only place gnolls are afraid to tread).
 
We slowly worked our way back to this dreaded boss's lair and discovered the secret to victory carved in a runestone from many years past...Blessing of Might! As our only paladin with the hard earned skill and training to bless others slowly worked his way through the group our morale could never be higher.
 
Needless to say, we smoked Hogger's sorry ass in a thrilling display that can only be described as unadulterated destruction. We were rewarded with a handsome bounty of 16 silver coins and a mass of linen cloth.
 
Congratulations guys. You deserve it!
 
And thank you too Blizzard. Not only do you keep Black Dragonflight completely lag free, but you make sure it is online at least a couple days of the week. Keep up the good work.

It took us a little longer than expected, but after three sub 1% wipes in the previous weeks including a 25k wipe(yes that's 25,000 i.e. 1-2 attacks from most classes) we finally killed the jackass.

First off, Happy Thanksgiving to everyone! Including you dirty Canadians! Stop copying our holiday and getting the date wrong!

So, yeah. Heroic Twins died a few weeks ago and have been farmed every week since. Not just farmed, but dominated. Nearly ever week we are getting to Anub with less than 5 wipes with our best of only 1 wipe(and a dumb one at that). Good gob guys! Keep up the good work!

That's pretty much it for the news. Once again a leprechaun ate my ss of the kill so I drew one for ya. I ran out of time to add everything I wanted in due to Thanksgiving dinner being ready so you get what you get. It took too long looking up pictures of girls kneeling doggy style though. There are surprisingly very few pictures from a good angle. =/

Oh billy it's been a while. Where should I start?

Old content:
 - Completed Yogg+3 for our first legendary mace! Grats Annah! Now you have bubbles in yo bubbles!
 - Steelbreaker was murderized

New content:
 - ToC10 Normal fully cleared(lol)
 - ToC10 Heroic fully cleared
 - ToC25 Normal fully cleared
 - Our progression in ToC25 Heroic is moving surprisingly swiftly now that we can field a full raid! ^_^ The Beasts of Northrend fell a few weeks ago promptly followed by both Lord Jaraxxarraxxxus and the Faction Champions.

We are currently working on the Twin Val'kyr but they are [insert balls joke here]. O SNAP!

Apparently I don't have a screenshot of the kills so I hired an artist to do a render for me. It's close enough.

“Shall we slay the Council tonight?” Ouchilicious asked, peering around the corner with her frosty eyes. “They’ll keep,” our leader replied with a shake of his massive, ursine head. Even in bear form, with his mouth perpetually agape, he was a portrait of Tauren stoicism.

“Don’t let the infernal wailing fool you,” Keaton growled, addressing the twenty-four of us but staring fiercely at the duplicitous Sara. “‘She’ is imprisoned here for a reason.”

The druid’s temporarily feline eyes narrowed to mere slits as he studied his prey. Beneath his tawny pelt, his muscles trembled in anticipation of the battle to come. In a matter of moments, we knew — with the world-weary certainty of veterans — our leader would throw his iron self-control to the stale wind of the Old God’s prison chamber. His barely contained energy would explode into rage, and he would lead us once more unto greatness … or death.

“She will likely summon minions to her protection,” he continued, tail lashing. “We must use them against her.”

“We know,” I whispered in Tauraje, so softly that only he could hear. “We know.”

He glanced at me, and his amber eyes flickered in the leonine equivalent of smile: feral fervor and lazy affection, all at once.

I tightened my grip on my mace, my Guiding Star, and fixed my gaze firmly ahead.

“Let’s get this show on the road, shall we?” came a voice from our left, light and almost cheerful. Lupius was nothing if not an optimist. “I have a good feeling about this one.”

“Just watch your pet.” Another voice, this one low and rough — like silk on gravel. It could only be Korev. “I don’t trust that Light-damned cat.”

“Are you allowed to take the Light’s name in vain?” The query came from a Sin’dorei rogue I tended to think of as Mazzranache. He was a vain and curiously charismatic creature — far too preoccupied with preening to skulk in the shadows with the rest of his ilk. “Surely it’s against some stuffy paladin code …”

I snorted. “Of course he is. His kind doesn’t worship the Light; they merely enslaved it for a time.”

Keaton’s snarl cut through the anxious chatter. “Let’s go.”

... And because I know my mate — and was listening for it — the last thing I heard before all hell broke loose was the faintest ghost of a prayer. Not to the Earthmother, but to Elune.

Secrets of Ulduar : Week 1

After months of farming Naxxramas — not to mention our hard won triumphs in Obsidian Sanctum! — our intention was to "hit the ground running" in the long awaited Tier 8.
Alas, the server had other ideas, and we were only able to spend a few hours in Heroic Ulduar. Nonetheless, we two-shot Flame Leviathan on Tuesday (after a much longer grind against that most nefarious of raid bosses, the Loading Screen itself!), and went on to down Razorscale on Saturday.

We also saw two 10-man groups make excellent progress in non-heroic Ulduar (which is still pretty heroic, if you ask me!), with one team clearing all the way through Mimiron over the course of three days and the other downing five new bosses in as many hours.

As I <a href=http://surreality.guildomatic.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=1388>wrote</a> in our members' only forum, this is a very exciting time to be a Surreality raider. For the first time in our existence, we aren't "months behind"; we are tackling new content for the first time when it's fresh and challenging! If you haven't had the opportunity to explore Ulduar yet, rest assured — it's no Naxxramas! You'll need to be on your toes (or hooves, as the case may be!) to make serious progress here, so set aside the bad habits you learned in Tier 7 and zone into Ulduar with your game faces on. We're counting on you.

I am, of course, referring to the announcement ... not the kill. ;) We defeated Malygos for the first time weeks ago, and have seen him die every Sunday since. We'll be setting our sights on Sartharion +drakes next.
