Are you currently guilded? If so, with whom? Currently guilded with thats a negative, although only have been for about a week. Before that, I was with Incorrigible.
Why are you looking to leave? Although we were clearing content and moving forward, I am not fond of the way the guild is administrated. This first week I've been here, I saw an officer get demoted for missing a raid on a thursday (usually an off day for the guild) because of a completely valid reason, IMO. To be honest, it looks like a headache waiting to happen with them.
What other guilds have you been in?

I became a core raider of incorrigible before joining Thats a Negative. Then I moved from the west coast to the east, so I couldn't make their late night raid schedule anymore.

Before that, I was in a guild called Out of Range on Farstriders. We were one of the top5 guilds on the server, although that is not much to brag about since it was a pretty bad server. I raided with them as a core raider since early ToC and was committed to their progression all the way into icc25 putricide where people stopped showing up for progression, preferring to only come to farm content (I guess they wanted the gear to look cool in dal or something :P)

Why do you want to join Surreality? I'm looking for a guild I can get to know and raid with for a long while. I have heard good reviews of you guys from some of your members and others. On top of that, your raid times work perfectly for me. I would be lying if I said that I hand picked you guys, but what can i say? I've been on the server for about a month.
What do you have to offer the guild? What are your expectations for us?

What I offer to you guys as a guild is (besides huge deeps :P) regular attendance to raids, farm or progression. You can count on me to keep up to date on class/raid theory. Most in Out of Range would know me as one to research encounters and write up parts we could touch up on on the guild forums. My JC cuts are always available for guild members and you'll never see me in trade giving you all a bad name.

I expect from the guild a fun raiding environment and consistent loot policy. A close friend of mine left incorrigible because the raid leader decided to loot council a particular piece without prior notice to anyone, including other officers. Like I said before, I'm looking for a good long term fit. When you get to know me, you'll see that I'm pretty easy going and social but serious when it comes to mid-raid.

Do you know any of our members? Who? I have known alané for a long while, raiding with her on my old server with Out of Range and transfering here raiding with incorrigible. I also have mild acquaintance with cigismund. when I joined Thats a Negative, he was an officer there.
What is your current talent distribution? How, or why, did you choose it? (Explain dubious talent choices. An acceptable answer to this question is not "because I was told to by a guild member in "x." Just like High School Math, show your work.)

Standard fury spec for the most part with slight adaptations to the raid and group. For example, I am specced into heroic fury, allowing me to break any immobilization effect, but more importantly refresh the cooldown on my intercept. Movement is very important in ICC and having an emergency charge is extremely useful on fights like lady deathwhisper (charging between caster adds and boss), putricide (slimes-boss), heroic princes (combat the movement damage), valithria (adds and especially getting to blazing skeleton on the other side), etc.

I'm also specced into improved rend/tactical mastery in the arms tree because rend is a good filler for the gaps in my rotation. This is especially true since I do not wear 4-piece t10 to get my 2 slam procs, thus giving me more room in my rotation. I just wanted to note at the same time, I do not possess a 4-piece t10 at the moment because my old guild had a 2-token limit until most of the core raiders had theirs. This isn't really gimping my dps right now however because my gear is optimized to give me only slightly less (200 or so) dps than 4-piece t10, only if they are all sanctified. If any are not, my current setup is better.

I used to be specced into furious attacks back in ToC so that I could apply a mini-MS onto heroic anub, but since it is no longer necessary, I put the extra point in improved bloodrage. There are a few rage talents so to speak like improved berserker rage, but I prefer bloodrage because at my gear level, rage is hardly an issue, and for the rare occasion that I am slightly rage starved, bloodrage is off the GCD so it's better for those emergency situations.

Some fury warriors spec into commanding presence but personally, I find that to be a 10 man talent. Getting the extra attack power is nice, but the battle shout will just get overwritten by might in a raid anyway so the talent points are better spent elsewhere. Same thing with improved demoralizing shout. I could spec into it but all my raids had either a bear tank or a ret pally doing their debuffs instead.

What is your preferred raid role? If this role isn't available, are you willing to respec? My first choice would be to dps. I have a tank spec with half-decent gear but I haven't ever really had a chance to use it so I'm not sure how useful I would be tanking. If DPS, I can sunder-bot and all that.
If you're applying as a DPS class, can you explain the basics of your rotation/priority system, and why you use it? BT-WW-GCD-BT-2GCD-WW-GCD. Repeat. Inside the GCDs are where I place slam procs, sunder, shouts, stance dances/rends, etc. It is always better to hit the BT or WW on time than to slam instead unless the slam proc is about to expire and it only slightly pushes back a BT. Meanwhile, I spam heroic strike. Some people say only to use it when over 50ish rage, but honestly at this gear level it is very rare to be rage starved and the more hits I can turn yellow the better.
Surreality logs can be found at http://www.worldoflogs.com/guilds/4972/. You will be held to the standard of being able to put out numbers reasonably close to ours. Do you feel that this is something you're capable of doing? Do you have any applicable logs of your performance?

I am capable of putting out numbers at the level indicated in your WoL. While I do not have any heroic mode WoL since thats a negative doesn't record them, I have some normal mode ones from around a month ago to demonstrate what I can do.

I've had a few upgrades since then as well as heroic experience.

No one has their ideal gear, and getting that gear we want is part of the reason for raiding. Can you point out any problems you see in your own gearing at the moment, and explain your plans to address those issues? I am currently only using 2-piece t10. As i explained before, my old guild imposed a 2-token limit to guarantee all raiders saw sanctified. While my current setup is only about 200 dps off from 4-piece sanctified, the gap grows larger when considering heroic sanctified tier. So now, I plan on getting my 4-piece asap and using landsoul's warrior dps spreadsheet to see when it would be a dps increase to wear them. Besides that, I've optimized my gear to be as good as possible.
Describe your previous raid experience. What is your favorite boss fight? Why? Why I'm sure all melee love saurfang/festergut (Me included :P) My favorite encounter has to be professor putricide because it lets me use most of my warrior abilities to their best potential. For example, intercept on oozes. I also like it when the green ooze spawns because all my heavy hitting abilities are available to be unleashed within seconds of it becoming targetable. It isn't an easy fight. It is somewhat unforiving but not heroic lich king unforgiving. So it feels like you really have to work for your kill and have constant raid awareness from the beginning of the fight until the very end.
What add-ons do you use? What add-on can't you live without? Why? Can you include a screenshot of your raiding ui? I use deadly boss mods, omen, recount, slam alert, snowfallkeypress, tellmewhen and atlasloot :P. I can't live without dbm because the timers are extremely useful on some fights. tellmewhen is also extremely useful to keep track of my internal cooldowns so that I can sync deathwish with an upcoming DBW proc or something similar.
How many times a week are you willing to raid? When are you available? I'm available to raid every night during the week. I have committed myself to 10 mans on the weekend before but for now, I have to wait to see how my summer schedule turns out before determining weekends.
How do you spend your time in-game outside of raid time? When I'm not raiding, I'm farming for gold, running dailies, levelling alts (63 mage atm) and just talking with friends in/out of guild.
Tell us about a time you wiped your group or raid. Although I make it a habit not to be "that guy" who causes the wipes, everyone's bound do do it sometimes. Last week, we were doing heroic blood princes and I had high stacks from chasing down taldaram's empowered flame sphere. Valanaar became active and immediately empowered shock vortexed us. I could not manage to move due to my stacks, had my intercept/intervene on cooldown so i frantically tried to find a safe spot without running too much and blew up next to what was probably a ranged on kinetic bomb duty because as soon as it happened, a bomb dropped and wiped us.
Best. AFK. Ever. in one of my old guilds on my previous server, my gf was over from cali during one of our raids. We were having some beers, one thing led to another, I went afk and never came back. >.>
Anything else? I understand that right now you guys are extremely warrior heavy. I know my class and can put out the numbers to compete. I'm filling this out so that in case I am still looking around when a spot opens up, you could let me know. I'd like to get to know/raid with you guys. :D
