None really to speak of, I was in my former guild 3 years. Before that I was in some Vanilla WoW scrub guilds. |

Why do you want to join Surreality?
|
The line I read about "serious raiding on a casual schedule." I've had a real hard time finding a guild that fit my playstyle along with my strange work schedule.

What do you have to offer the guild? What are your expectations for us?

Experience (I've raided since ZG), Adaptability (I have raided 5 different classes, but a lock has always been main), Theorycrafter...of sorts ( I do theorycraft and truely believe in min/max).
I look for a guild to be fun first, progress second. I want structure without feeling threatened. I deal with cussing and yelling all day at work, I don't need to hear that all nite also. Lastly, I left a guild that I was a part of for 3 years. I look for my next guild to last just as long, so I need stability. |

What is your current talent distribution? How, or why, did you choose it? (Explain dubious talent choices. An acceptable answer to this question is not "because I was told to by a guild member in "x." Just like High School Math, show your work.)

After raiding since Wrath hit 0/18/53, I felt it was time to change specs. I theorycrafted for a bit and came out with my current build of 0/56/15. This seemed to scale better with gear and provided a nice raid buff. There really wasn't any hard choices on talents as this is a fairly cookie cutter build. The hardest choice I've had is Life Tap Glyph vs Meta. I've chosen the tap glyph for now for the raw SP bonus which avg's out to 80 or so SP. |

What is your preferred raid role? If this role isn't available, are you willing to respec?

I kill stuff. If i can't kill stuff, I'll gladly hold pom poms and possibly wear a skirt to cheer the guild on... I would respec, I'm more interested in raid that personal gain. Shadowbolts, Incinerate, DoTS, whatever. It's all about the kill-woot-grats. |

If you're applying as a DPS class, can you explain the basics of your rotation/priority system, and why you use it?

My current priority system is thus: Am I standing in fire/poison/bad stuff? - CoE(CoD), Immolate, Corruption, SB until Molten Core which would be 3 Incinerates, am I standing in bad stuff? no - ok... until 35% which would then be Immolate/Corruption/1 SB to keep up debuff/Soul Fire to keep Decimation up.
Other notes, I use a burn all macro that is tied into my spammers so that I use all trinkets/racial asap. I also burn Meta on every CD.
I have tinkered with my rotation, read some, watched some really nice videos on this build (until the youtube bug got me and I started watching ... nevermind wrong place/wrong time) This has proven to be a faily nice/standard rotation. The macro I've used for ages and it seems to never fail me. |

Surreality logs can be found at http://www.worldoflogs.com/guilds/4972/. You will be held to the standard of being able to put out numbers reasonably close to ours. Do you feel that this is something you're capable of doing? Do you have any applicable logs of your performance?

I feel that once I got the raid juice flowing again I can. I don't have any reports at the moment. All mine off my former guild have expired. I do recall before the last ICC buff pulling 8k ish on a few fights, although that was destruction. |

No one has their ideal gear, and getting that gear we want is part of the reason for raiding. Can you point out any problems you see in your own gearing at the moment, and explain your plans to address those issues?

Oh wow, yes. Not happy with my former choices of epgp use. Exhibit A : Nibelung. My trinkets are horrible. Trinkets are my first priority. I've kind of got attatched to having my *cough* 'ladies' around. |

Raided since ZG. Favorite boss fight is Leo the Blind in SSC. Why? Cmon, lock tanks? Are you serious? Wow the fun I had. |

I use a variety of goodies. My must have has to be a tie between DBM and Quartz. DBM because it yells at me to move out of the fire, Quartz because it helps with Dots. |

/Follow on my buddy in Naxx. Was sick as a dog that night with a bad flu. I fell asleep on my keyboard. The next day I woke up and logged on, they had killed KT with me on follow.....on the Main Tank. |

Basically, I am looking to get my foot in the door so that I can kick it down. I LOVE having fun. I have a good sense of humor, I am an equal opportunity picker. I will sacrifice my epeen for the expense of a laugh. All the while I strap on the big boy pants and put on my game face during a boss fight. I Live, laugh, love, play, and work hard. I don't have time for pesky elitist attitudes. Constructive criticism is one thing, evil ill will is another. I screw up once and rarely ever make that same mistake again. I like long walks on the beach, oh wait, wrong application... Thats all I suppose. /wave |
